Actress Yousra has signed a contract with producer Mahmoud Baraka for the leading role in the new television title “Sharbat Louz”. The production is set to air during the upcoming month of Ramadan. Tamer Housny wrote the screenplay for the production which Khaled Mar’ee is slated to direct. It was also agreed that shooting will begin as soon as agreements are reached with the remaining members of the cast. The work assumes a comedic air and represents a change for Yousra who has had more experience working on works that adopt societal themes. Thus Yousra adopts the character of an Egyptian woman in the 1950s called “Sharbat”. “Sharbat” is twice divorced and has no children, however she has three brothers whom she treats like her children. She also works as a seamstress at a workshop owned by one of Egypt’s most important clothes designers.
