As is expected of a true leader who is in touch with the concerns of his nation, renowned star Mahmoud ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz has shown his support for the Egyptian Revolution and has stated that it is a glorious uprising and that its youth have achieved what the elders could not attain. Moreover the star has added: “We have learned quite a lot from the youth, we must listen to them and ensure that all of their demands are met. It is their prerogative to live in a climate where they are free and secure, it also their right to continue expressing their legitimate grievances until the leadership acquiesces. The youth must also press on with their uprising so that the lives of martyrs do not go in vain.” ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz has also attacked members of the regime for allegedly unleashing bullies to assault and murder protesters. To this effect Mahmoud ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz has said: “Those responsible for such actions no doubt retain a sense of false and empty haughtiness, all things are ephemeral excepting the homeland. Those who used live fire against protesters and unleashed bullies upon them are not true humans and are void of any humanity. No matter how great the benefits which they wish to derive, they surely do not warrant the taking of a human life."
