Director Khaled Youssef has felt a great sense of self blame due to the fact that he has not documented the revolution cinematically. To this effect the director has said: “Throughout such circumstances, the camera becomes my weapon and the demonstrations should have been filmed so that they remain in the collective memory of the nation. However I could not do much else than protest myself and fulfill the role of one of those individuals valued by my country.”On another note, Khaled Youssef has asserted that there is now power in the world that could subdue the heroes of the revolution of the 25th of January after they displayed such courage and steadfastness.
