The revolution restores to Sherihan her spirit and Egyptian vitality

Renowned actress Sherihan has stated that she has regained her Egyptian vitality since the start of the January revolution. Following a period where she had all but lost hope the youths that came out in great numbers on the 25th restored her spirit so that she began seeing this beautiful country in the same light that the rest of the world sees it in.Sherihan expressed her profound happiness at the departure of Mubarak’s regime which followed the death of hundreds of martyrs whose deaths were glorified by the success of the revolution. The actress also referred to what she saw as preferential treatment that Mubarak had given his two sons over the rest of the populous. Sherihan added furthermore that the world as a whole is learning from the Egyptian revolution and its background. The actress also referred to what she saw in term of religious coexistence and civilized manners typified in the fact that Christian protesters protected the backs of their Muslim peers as they prayed and vice versa. She was also pleased about the fact that the protesters cleaned the streets in the days following the success of the revolution as they now felt a stronger sense of belonging to the country than ever before.
