Artist Mohamed Heneidy has decided to delay work on his latest film title “Teta Raheeba” (“Awesome Grandma”) which was expected to include a performance by the renowned actress Samiha Ayyoub. Heneidy has decided upon this course of action due to anxieties concerning instability with regards to the socio-political state of Egypt following the revolution of the 25th of January which saw the ousting of the former regime.Mohamed Heneidy has also decided to push forward the continuation of film work on the television series “Monsieur Ramadan Mabrook Abou ‘Alamein Hamoudah” until he has completed work on the aforementioned film. However, Heneidy was forced to put off the date once again despite the fact that director Sameh ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz was about to begin filming just prior to the 25th of the previous month. The later period which saw an increase in demonstrations followed by a full scale revolution have forced another pause in work until a yet unannounced date.
