Carol Samaha sings “al-Masry Abou Damm Hammy” (“Hot Blooded Egyptian”)

Lebanese star Carol Samaha has finished recording the single “al-Masry Abou Damm Hammy” (“Hot Blooded Egyptian”) which is expected to be released as a video music clip some time soon. The clip was produced by Cedars Art Production – Sabah Ikhwan. Aymman Bahgat Qammar wrote the lyrics for the song which was composed by Mohamed Yahya and distributed by Mohamed Mostafa. Carol intends to shoot the video for the song in Egypt over the coming few days.On another note, Carol Samaha was present lately at a dinner which brought together the cast and talents working on the television series “al-Shahroura”. The title brings together some of the most outstanding Arab performers in a work which is amongst the most ambitious dramas ever put together in the Arab World. Major actors from Egypt, Lebanon and the Arabian Gulf will be involved in the project.There are indications that music composer Mohamed Yahya has been chosen to put together the music and opening and closing themes for the television series.
