‘Amr Waked rebuffs claims that he had asked Ghada ‘Abd Al Razeq to retire

Actor ‘Amr Waked has refuted statements attributed to him which were published recently in a magazine that requested actress Ghada ‘Abd Al Razeq to retire in the aftermath of the revolution of the 25th of January.Waked affirmed that he had not made such provocative statements and that all he had said in that regard was that some artists should retire due to negative roles which they played during the revolution thereby explaining that he had made absolutely no references to Ghada. The actor also added that he had recently begun filming a movie about the revolution with director Ibrahim al-Batout and Farrah Youssif.
