Actress Hanan Muttawe’ has signed up for a leading role in the film “Ba’d al-Toufan”. Workshops are being held with the writer and the work’s director Hazim Metwally in order to iron out all final details before filming begins in the near future.The work, which is produced by “Phoenix”, is set to feature performances by Ahmed Safwat, Mona Hala and Maha Abou ‘Ouf. The title is set to portray the period following the stepping down of the previous president.It is noted that Hanan is awaiting the screening of her film “Haflat Muntassaf al-Leil” (“Midnight Party”) which she had performed in alongside Tunisian actress Durra and Rania Youssif. The screenplay for that title was authored by Mohamed ‘Abd Al Khaleq and was directed by Mahmoud Kamel.
