“Dourran Shubra” ready for screening by the following Ramadan

The team working on the television series “Dourran Shubra” have come close to finishing the filming of the work’s scenes. Thus it is set to become the first work to be ready for screening by the next holy month of Ramadan – that is according to a statement by producer Gaby Khoury to the Rose al-Youssif newspaper. The producer has also asserted that the crew will relocate following the conclusion of filming at the “Galal” studio in a few days to film closing scenes at a number of Cairo streets such as those at al-Mokattam and al-Manial.The series “Dourran Shubra” utilizes a screenplay written by ‘Amr al-Dali and is directed by Khaled al-Hagar. The series is produced by Egypt International Films and BBC WST and features performances by Dalal ‘Abd Al ‘Azeez, Sami el-‘Adl, Houriyah Farghaly, Ahmed ‘Azmi, Haitham Ahmed Zaki, Hani ‘Aadel, ‘Afaf Sho’aib, Zaki Fatteen ‘Abd Al Wahab, Merihan, Mohamed Ramadan and Malak Koura. The show takes a look at relations between Muslims and Christians in the district of Shubra.
