Boat sails in cinemas mid-June

Director Faisal Abu-Laban and Cine Pro company agreed on screening the film “The boat” in mid-June 2011 as more than 75% of the film’s scenes are already shot.The production of the film based on a true incident has been suspended during January 25 Revolution and tells the story of seven youngsters spending time together on a boat in the sea, the boat sinks.Starring young actors; Yousra al-Lozy, Farah Youssef, Ahmad Haatem, Raamez Ameer, Reem Helaal and Ahmad Saad along with Ragha and Ahmad Fouaad Seleem.Worth mention, that “The boat” is Abu-Laban’s fourth feature film after; “Fattah eneik i.e. Open your eyes”, “Ahlaam omrena i.e. Our life dreams” and “Amaleyyaat khaassa i.e. Special operations”.
