Singer Shereen Abdel Wahab : I told my husband to look after my girls before I went to Tahrir

Singer Shereen had asked her husband to look after her children in case anything happened to her while demonstrating in Tahrir. Shereen’s only concern were her daughters . Shereen had stated that there was never a contradiction in the fact that she sang to the president in the past and her attitude of the revolution , in an interview with TV host Amr El Laithy in Tahrir Channel . She strongly supports the revolution and when she sang to the president in the past she had not imagined the scale of corruption, injustice and oppression the country was in. On a different note she pleaded with people to forgive her singing partner “Tamer Hosni” for his initial attitude of the revolution , saying that he had not yet understood the magnitude of what was happening. She also said that when Tamer realized what was going on he quickly provided a public apology.
