Ahmed Helmy is an associate director in the “Trop Viste Arabia” festival

The Trop Viste Arabia is the extension of the international Trop Viste Cinema festival in the Middle East. It is also considered the biggest festival for short movies. Actor Ahmed Helmy was chosen in the judging committee as an associate director to support John Paulson the director (who won several awards) and the founder of the Trop Viste Festival. The judging committee includes Egyptian director and script writer Mohamed Hefzy, as well as several Arab actors, directors and producers. Saudi director and actress Ahd Kamel as well as producer Mamdouh Salem are also amongst the judging committee, so is Lebanese director and actress Nadine Lebky and director Amin Dorra, Jordanian actor Iyad Nassar, Emirati director and producer Nayla Al Khaga, and finally Damon Gamo the winner of The Australian Trop Viste Festival in 2011.The committee will choose 12 films to participate in the festival in Abu Dhabi.
