Carol Samaha : I went into depression because of "Al Shahroora"

Lebanese actress Carol Samaha stated that the series "Al Shahroora" was by far the hardest series she's ever worked in. Although she studied acting and was involved in 20 Lebanese plays yet,in the series she was shooting daily and for 6 months which brought her to the realization that a singer's life is much more convenient than that of an actor.Carol stated that the actual character she was portraying was not an easy one, it exhausted her, along with the fact that the character herself was still alive, which added extra stress to Carol because that meant she had to perform according to the expectations. Not to mention the final episodes where Carol was portraying Sabah as an old woman and all the pressure that this phase involved.Yet, in a press conference with Al Masry Al Yoom newspaper, singer Carol Samaha expressed her happiness with the series and hoped that this would be her pass to Egyptian media.
