Initiating shooting for the series “That” next January

Director Kamla Abu Zekri decided to hold all shooting for the series “That” until January to give the star of the series “Nelly Kareem” plenty of rest after the delivery of her 4th baby. She agreed with producer Gaby Khoory that they can start mid December shooting the scenes that don’t involve “That” or Nelly Kareem, until she is recuperated by January, and is able to start filming her own scenes. Initially the series was supposed to be 15 episodes staring with the 23rd of July revolution until the year 2010, but the events of the recent revolution (25th January) required a whole change of script to adapt to the new changes, which forced script writer Mariam Naoom to re write the script again expanding the story in 30 episodes instead of 15.“That” is taken from a novel by Sonai Allah Ibrahim. Costarring in this series alongside Nelly Kareem is Basem Samra, Hani Adel, Nahed El Sebaii, Ahmed Kamal and Khaled Sarhaan.
