American star Sean Penn takes part in Tahrir demonstrations today

American movie star and Oscar winner Sean Penn appeared today in Tahrir Square accompanied by Egyptian actor Khaled Nabawi in solidarity with the Egyptians and to show his support. Penn, who has always been a critic to the US Middle East policies, was invited by Egyptian actor Khaled Nabawi in an attempt to eliminate the fear that many people developed after the Egyptian revolution concerning safety measures in Egypt. According to “Al Ahram” website, Penn believes that it is time for the transition of power to take place from the military to the people. He added that he along with the entire world is proud of the courageous revolution of Egypt.Penn will be touring Cairo and visiting the Cairo museum at a later stage in his trip
