Elissa denies attacking the Egyptian revolution and supports the Syrian people against “Al Assad’s” Crime.

Lebanese star Elissa denied beyond reasonable doubts all the rumors that circulated and suggested that she was against the Egyptian revolution and that she is no longer feeling safe in Egypt because of it.Elissa stated that on the contrary she is very supportive of people who decide their own fate and strive to achieve democracy and eliminate corruption. In an interview on “Super Star” that plays on Al Haya channel Elissa revealed the fact that her mum is Syrian and this is why she sympathizes with the Syrian people so much, expressing her anger towards what is happening in Syria from blood shedding to racial elimination. Elissa believes that every population has the right to choose their president in the way they see fit.Elissa added that she is unable to sing patriotic songs unless she has a strong feeling to what she is singing. She said that most of the singers and artists who are singing such songs currently are trying to fit in the current trend and don’t truly believe in what they are doing or deeply feel what they are singing.
