Inside the building where the censorship process for artistic work goes on, about 25 employs went on strike demonstrating their very low wages and asking for an increment of 200% of their pay.Although the Minister of culture Dr. Emad Abu Ghazzi had agreed to the raise effective last July, unfortunately the employees received nothing. Director Sayed Khattab promised them to resolve this issue within the coming couple of days.Dr. Sayed also promised the construction of a massive cinema project, which is building a cinema lab for printing and processing Egyptian films inside Egypt, provided its location be in Zamalek. The director had applied for such project to the minister of culture Dr. Emad which he in turn approved, provided they begin working on the project in the coming couple of months. This project will help Egyptian film makers complete and create their movies inside Egypt instead of seeking help from the west.
