Familiar faces on the red carpet in the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi International Cinema Festival’s 5th round:

Today Abu Dhabi International Cinema Festival announced the stars that will be joining the opening ceremony of the event. Many of the stars are famous Arab and Gulf celebrities.The opening ceremony will take place on the Fairmont beach starting with the “Open Air Performances” which is considered a new additive this year.The festival administration chose the movie “Monsieur Lazhar” for its opening movie. The movie is representing Canada for best foreign film for 2012 written by Luke Deery and directed by Philip ValardonSome of the names announced this evening will be Khaled Abu El Naga, Samy Kaftan, Faris Al Helw, Maher Salibi and big star Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.The judging Committee will include infamous celebrities such as American director Amy Mills, Iranian legend Fatma Semeen Moatamed Area, Egyptian actress Layla Elwi and French actress Marian Denikor. The Mauritanian director Sisako will be one of the most significant guests tonight.From the gulf, the red carpet will probably host Hoda El Khateeb, Dr Habib Ghaloom,Haifaa Hussein, Mohamed El Mansour, Ibrahim El Hessawi, Ahmed El Gassmi, Ahmed Irag, Khaled Amin, Zeina Karam, Tarek El Ali, Abdulla Booshehri, Abdel Mohsen El Nemer, Ali El Ali, Ghanem El Selaity, Haya Booshehri, Haya Abdel Salam, Mahmoud Booshehri and Moza Al Mazrooei.
