Syrian actress kinda Aloush stated that she will head straight to Damascus as soon as she is finished shooting her new movie “One Whole One” and releasing it during Eid Al Adha. She justified her decision by wanting to be with her family who chose to remain in Syria throughout the Syrian revolution and the atrocities that took place under Bashaar El Assad’s regime. Kinda denied all rumors that stated that the regime has threatened to kill her, but rather those who support the regime who initiated a severe campaign against her threatening to harm her upon her return. However, she is still adamant to come back to Syria because she believes that her soul isn’t more precious than those who are dying in the revolution. In an interview that was held with Kinda on “Studio Masr” program, Kinda said that she is between Cairo and Damascus because she cannot isolate herself completely from Syria. She explained that she has turned against the regime because of the injustice that fell upon her people, and although Al Assad had plenty of opportunities for reform, yet he did not try, and instead he chose to kill and massacre his own people. Kinda added that the situation in Syria is really bad, she is hoping that the killing in the streets that is going on would stop, and there has been enough bloodshed during the whole revolution. What is happening now will definitely affect the nation’s union.
