Actor Khaled Nabawi opened the gallery of “Harer.Harer” which means “to set free” during the Doha Tarabeka Cinema Festival. The gallery includes 50 productions from around the world discussing the topic of “liberation” in the Arab world, presented by movie makers from Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Tunisia, Ram Allah, Yafa, Marrakesh, Khartoum and Doha.The festival was arranged in such a way that allowed audience to move from one seat to another viewing several different screens at the same time.Khaled spoke about the importance of this innovative work offering special thanks to the young directors who participated, adding that he feels proud to be amongst those young directors who are presenting their very first visions of the revolution, hoping that their ideas will be translated into reality one day. Khaled also offered gratitude to the Education Center in the Doha Corporation for Movies, and the director of the center Iskander Kebti, for allowing this unique chance to those young directors.“I am proud to be coming out of Tahrir” Khaled added, explaining how Tahrir is a symbol for all that it pure. He called for unity amongst the Arab world to prevent hunger, poverty and illiteracy.
