Mohamed Mounir finished recording his new album "Ya Ahl Alarab Waltarab" in Germany. The album contains ten songs which carry the signature of a number of poets that Mounir is used to cooperate with, including Abdulrahman Alabnoudy, the late Abdulrehim Mansour, Kawthar Moustafa and the young poet Nasr Eldin Nagui who presented his last song,"Ezzay", with him during the Egyptian revolution.Mounir hasn't specified a release date for his album yet, but it is likely that he won't wait for the new year to start. Even more likely, is that he would release it by the end of this month, at a time close to the parlimentary elections. Mounir believes that good art imposes itself at any time and its audience would listen to it no matter what the release date is.Mounir currently awaits the completion of the photographic propaganda for his album, and printing the copies and posters, to finally settle on a release date.It is said that Mounir was supposed to release the album for Eid Alfitr but postponed it to Eid Aladha. His inability to finish recording and printing pushed him to postpone it once again.Mounir considers this album, which is the first cooperation between him and "Arabica" that is owned by Mohamed Yassin, a new a shift in his career seeing as to how it is his first work after the revolution. That is why the songs in this album focus on celebrating the revolution, the Egyptian people's newfound freedom and the Arab Spring.
