Adel Imam along with his cast and crew for the series “Nagi Attallah’s Squad” finally returned to Cairo after spending almost a month in Beirut filming scenes of his new series. The reason the crew remained all that time in Lebanon was that they were supposed to film other scenes in Syria as well, but due to political instability in the area, the decision was made to film those scenes as well in Beirut.Currently the cast and crew are taking some time off to celebrate Eid Al Adha after a long period of continuous work. After the Eid, the plan is to return to filming the outdoor scenes in the streets of Cairo. Filming the scenes in Lebanon was the major part of the work, now only a few weeks of shooting are left. Following that, director Ramy imam will start editing the episodes giving himself plenty of time before the upcoming Ramadan. It is not yet certain when the series will play, no one knows whether it will wait till Ramadan or play earlier than that time outside any specific season. The story of the series is about an Egyptian Nagi Attallah who works at the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv. After his discharge in a demeaning manner, he decides to take revenge by robbing a bank in Tel Aviv, through putting together his own squad.
