Sulaf Fawakherji presented her honorary award at the Beirut International Festival to her country Syria. Roaring applause was heard all over the theater when she said: I present this award to the dearest thing to me, my country Syria”.Sulaf also expressed her happiness that she was honored amongst other big Arabic stars such as the legendary Syrian actor Sabah Fakhry, as well as many other celebrities in the field of science and economics. Sulaf explained that the festival is especially organized for special achievers and she is ahppy to be one of those and will continue presenting the best quality of work to impress her audience and live up to their expectations. Beirut’s International Festival was held on the 27th of November in Beirut and many social celebrities and those in the field of politics and art attended the festival. Many big names were honored in the festival such as Egyptian actress Nabila Ebaid, Lebanese actor Abdel Maguid Magthoob, Egyptian actor Mahmoud Yassin, singers Samira Saeed and Assi El helani. Lebanese artist Abdel Rahman El Basha, as well as the first Russian astronaut Alexi Leonuf.
