Amr Waked: I traveled to France to film a serial and not to escape the elections

The artist Amr Waked confirmed that all what was said about his trip to France is just a reporter’s words and not based on any facts, expressing his regret for the spread of such rumors and news.Waked pointed that being in France is related to filming a French serial named “Ongeronaj”, he plays the role of a “Greek” person who speaks English and French, he pointed out that the character he plays appears for the first time in all four serial parts, saying that this is the only serial that is competing on the Emmy Awards.Waked had expressed his happiness for choosing this role, particularly as he was chosen based on his capability of acting and not for being an Arab, in addition to more than one offer that he is considering now.It is worth mentioning that “Salmon fishing in Yemen” film starring Amr Waked will be displayed in Cairo next March.
