The beginning of the International Film Festival in Marrakech

Yesterday dated Friday December the 2nd was the beginning of the 11th tournament of the Marrakech International film Festival. This festival is considered one of the biggest in Morocco as it is specially organized by King Mohamed the 6th himself. The opening of the festival initiated with some Mexican music, in honor of Mexico which is the nominated country for an award this year, presenting many of its productions.After the initial celebration the judging committee took place under the supervision of Serbian director Amir Costarica, announcing the initiation of the festival. The festival will last until the 10th of December , where 26 films from different continents will be competing for the “Golden Star” award.
