Actor Christian Bell will not portray the prophet Noah.

For the last 6 months there have been rumors of director Darren Arnovski nominating Christian Bell for the role of the prophet Noah in his epic movie “Noah”. However, Bell has a lot on his plate at the moment. Not only is he involved in 2 movies directed by Terrance Malick, he also has other projects that he wants to attend to, which makes him entirely unavailable to participate in Arnovski’s movie.Bell had not officially signed any contracts, but there has been many talks especially from Arnovski’s behalf that Bell is the idealistic character to play the role, since he has so much experience and is considered a talented actor.Arnovski finds the role very challenging especially on a spiritual and psychological basis, where “Noah” is alone responsible of saving humanity, knowing that the end of the world is near. There is no other nominee yet after Bell declined the offer, but there is a possibility of nominating someone completely new.
