First photo for Daniel Day-Lewis in the role of “Abraham Lincoln”

After the director Steven Spielberg began filming his new movie “Lincoln” in October, a photographer captured and leaked the first picture of the great actor Daniel Day-Lewis, while he was preparing to shoot one of the scenes with makeup and clothes of the man whom many consider the greatest president the United States ever had.It clearly shows the features similarities between Day-Lewis and “Abraham Lincoln”, in addition to unique qualifications to a great actor, a lot of public comments on the picture have focused on a huge possibility of a third Oscar award, after “my left foot” in 1989 and “there will be blood” in 2007, to become the first to receive the award three times as a main actor.The film deals with the last months in Abraham Lincoln’s life, which witnessed his struggle for the liberation of slaves and the passage of laws to promote equality after the unification of states, before he was murdered and his memoir, remain present in the American history.“Lincoln” starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jackie Earl Haley, Sally Field and David Strathairn, to be presented in December 2012.
