Tom Hooper is backing down of using 3D in “Les Misérables” so as not to lose part of the audience

After expressing great enthusiasm for the new musical photography process of the novel “Les Misérables” with 3D technology, Oscar award-winning director Tom Hooper retreated from his decision as not to lose some of the audience who has difficulty with this technique.He clarified that one of the reasons that made him proud of “The King’s Speech” film, which got him two Oscar awards best film and best director last session, it’s fun for everybody, can be viewed by a child of the age of eight and an old man in his eighty and both enjoy it equally, despite its magnificence but 3D cannot provide that, where some people still do not prefer.Hooper added that within the Independent British Film Festival awards, in the beginning 3D technique tempted him a lot because it’s new and interesting, but then he realized that the most important and biggest goal for him is to connect with everyone and that 2D ordinary technology appears to fit.In a glance of confidence, Hooper said that the most important of all is making a good and influential movie, which he finds in front of him in the story of “Les Misérables”, which the technical aspects is less in front of it.“Les Misérables” adapted from Victor Hugo the great French writer’s novel, starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway, the story is about a man imprisoned for twenty years because of the theft of a loaf of bread, after his release unconditionally from prison and starting from scratch leaving the past behind, the past was not done yet, as a police inspector was chasing him realizing that he is the old prisoner.
