El Fakharani commences his trip with “Abdel Kader the foreigner” next Saturday

With the current political instability that has swarmed the country; the series “Abdel Kader the foreigner” has been delayed many times. However, Yehia El Fakharni and his son Shady El Fakharani director of the series adamantly believe that with no further ado, they both took the decision to start filming on Saturday in Gabreya village in Dahshoor.According to plan, there is still some work to been done on the set in the village then, the cast will travel to Luxor and Aswan end of January to film some scenes in the winter. Sudan was also on the list of places for filming, however, due to instability there, it will also be excluded and instead a set with resembling features will be built in Egypt. Finally, the cast will then head to London for finishing off some scenes.In an interview with Ahmed El Gabry producer of the series with the news paper “Al Masry Al Yoom”, he mentioned that almost 90% of the cast has been chosen and currently involved in workshops with director Shady El Fakharani. The series is written by Abdel Reheem Kamal, and starring Yehia El Fakharani, Syrian actress Salafah Moamar, Sawsan Badr, Salah Abdulla, Abdel Aziz Makhyoon, Mahmoud El Guindy, Ahmed Selim and Salah Rashwan.
