Seminar discussing Naguib Mahfouz’s writings at the Film Center of Artistic Creativity.

Today Wednesday 6pm, the film center of artistic creativity is organizing a special commemorative for the centennial of the legendary and International novelist Naguib Mahfouz, called “Naguib Mahfouz A Cinematic Book”. The seminar is directed by film critic Samir Fareed.The commemoration will be attended by many film makers, novelists and poets. During the celebration, the Mexican movie “Haret El Moogezaat” or “The Alley of Dreams” taken from Naguib Mahfouz’s novel “Zokak El Madak”.The movie “The Alley of Dreams” is directed by Jorge Fons, starring Salma Hayek, Arnesto Cruize and Maria Rojo. The duration of the movie is 140 minutes and it was produced in 1995 and achieved 49 international awards.
