Live coverage for Luxor African Film Festival

Script writer Sayyid Foad and president of Luxor African Film Festival, announced that the events of the festival will have daily TV live coverage along with its opening ceremony after it was approved by the Minister of Information, Ahmed Anis. The festival's events are taking place on Luxor Corniche and in the Temple of Karnak. Foad informed "Al Badeel" newspaper that many International channels such as the 5th French channel are interested in the TV coverage of the festival. As for the participating countries from Africa, they shall receive the Egyptian TV live broadcast by their satellite channels. Foad praised the efforts done by the Ministry of Forein Affairs to strengthen the humanitarian, cultural and artistry ties between Egypt and the African countries. He also praised Ambassador Mona Omar - Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs and Advisor Walid Hagag for their roles in synchronizing between the Festival management and the Egyptian Embassies in participating countries. The festival's events will launch on 21 Feb 2012 and are to continue for a week and end on 28 Feb. The festival's management have invited many celebrities to attend this unique union such as Oprah Winfrey, South African former president - Nelson Mandela, Bollywood star - Amitabh Bachchan and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf the current President of Liberia.
