The Egyptian Revolution has reached Berlin!

"Al Thawra Khabar – Recording the Revolution" is an Egyptian documentary filmed by 6 reporters about the events that took place during the Egyptian revolution. The film shows the inner conflict that they had to continuously face between participating in the revolution and recording the events as reporters. The film is directed by Bassam Mortada and produced by El Masry El Youm. The documentary has reached the Berlin International Film Festival which is taking place between 9 and 19 February. The film makers will be also holding a number of seminars to talk about the making of the film and other films related to the recent Arabic revolutions.The premier for the film was yesterday in Hilton Cinema where many actors and famous journalists attended like Yosri Foda, Magdi El Gallad, Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassem, Moez Masood, Alaa El Aswani, Ahmed Shaker, Sayid Ragab, and Samia Gahin. Also, congress-man Zeyad Al Elemy attended with a number of political activists such as Alaa Abd El Fattah. After the show, a symposium was held and run by Yosri Foda to discuss the making of the film.
