Problems chase the movie “Alf Leila we Leila”

“Alf Leila we Leila” is the first Egyptian 3D movie, where actress Ghada Adel had recently announced her withdrawal from it. This was viewed as a destructive blow to the movie makers especially that actor Amr Waked, who was also signed up for a starring role announced his withdrawal. Ghada refused to give reasons for her withdrawal while Amr Waked explicitly stated that he refuses to work with actors who support the old regime and are remanence of the NDP.Ghada will be involved in a Ramadan series called “Al Ahd” or “The Testament” starring alongside Iyad Nassar. Ghada plays the role of a university professor working at one of the predominant colleges in Egypt who tries to unravel the mystery behind the corruption taking place there.
