In yesterday's episode of Arab's Idol which is currently showing on MBC, Tunisian contestant Sherine Al Lagmi sang one of Sherine Abd El Wahab's songs, and received a comment from Hassan Al Shafei, judge and music distributor, advising her to not sing Sherine's songs again. Hassan believes that Sherine has a unique style that makes her like the Lebanese idol Fairouz and no one should go to that road. Ahlam, judge and singer, agreed with him whereas Ragheb Alama, the third judge, disagreed completely and denied any comments of making Sherine an equal to Fairouz, even though he respects Sherine. Ahlam diplomatically managed to interfere between the two male judges and prevent an engagement that was about to happen.
