The 62nd Berlin International Film Festival achieves high attendance rates!

Festival's President, Dieter Kosslick, announced that the number of tickets sold in the first five days between of the festival has reached 250,000 tickets. This number is double the number of tickets sold last year which is a good indicator that the audience are now more interested in fine cinema and films. Such a high selling rate gives the festival a true segment for development in the future that should give more chances for young directors and film makers. He also added that this rate is considered a success for the fine art and gives back the glam for important festival and its films. The festival shall end its events on Sunday the 19th of February.
