"Tamer Taar" receives "El Sakia" golden Award

Yesterday witnessed the closing ceremony of El Sakia 9th festival for short feature movies, which that took place on February 14th and continued for three presented more than 50 short features film for young directors.The festival jury members who selected the winners were: the photography director Sayed El Shemy , the cinema higher institute director Dr.Adel Yehia, the institute editing professor Ghada Gaber. More over the parliament member and "El Sakia's" chairman Mohamed Abdelmoniem El Sawy announced the results which were as following: The golden Award went to "Tamer Taar" as best features short movie for the director Remon Botros ,the silver Award went to film" 41 Youm" while "El Kawales" movie received the bronze Award. Hisham Mansour was nominated as best actor for his role in "Mawid Gharamy", best Actress was Emy for her role in "Bard Yanayeer". However, Atef Nashid won the best cinematography award for his film "Alket Abou Takia Hamra" and best script went to the scriptwriter Tamer Samy Aziz for his movie "Kama Fi Al Meraa" and the Editor George Adel received the best editing in film "Eish".At the end of the festival, the certificates of honor were distributed on the jury members who took some photos with the winners.
