The information office of the Egyptian businessman "Gamal Marawan" issued a press statement announcing the failure of the Lebanese artist" Amaar" in proving her martial relationship with him.The case started when "Amaar" claimed that she got married to "Gamal Marawan" in Lebanon. The Egyptian court referred the lawsuit for investigation in order to bring the witnesses who are considered the only evidence of the claimed marriage. Although, "Amaar" failed in getting any witnesses in the 22nd of January court session, her lawyer "Mortada Mansour" didn't give up, he delayed the session till the 4th of March alleging that the witnesses are in Lebanon. In the mentioned date, the court session was held where neither "Amaar" nor her lawyer appeared, leading the court to finally close the case. On the other hand, "Gamal Marawan" and his lawyer insisted to continue the lawsuit until the allegations of the paternity issue gets resolved. The defendant was accompanied with two witnesses one of them was Egyptian and the other was Jordanian, the same men who "Amaar" herself alleged that they were present during her marriage contract. According to the Islamic Law, there must be a martial relation in order to prove the lineage and if not then the lawsuit consequently will be refused. As a result of slandering his reputation, "Gamal Marawan's" lawyers will sue "Amaar" and her lawyer.
