Christopher Nolan looses his cinematographer to directing!

Cinematographer Walter "Wally" Pfister who is best known for his work with director Christopher Nolan has recently decided to try his luck in directing. Pfister has worked with Nolan in all his films except his first "The Following" in 1998. He has won an Oscar for Cinematography for "Inception" in 2010. Pfister will start working on his first film by "Alcon Entertainment" next spring. Jack Beglin has written the script and auditions are in process to choose the actors. It is expected that Pfister might hire another cinematographer to work with him in the film. No details about the film have been announced yet which might happen only after choosing its cast."Moneyball" of 2011 production and "The Dark Night Rises" which will be released in July 2013 are the last films that Pfister has worked on.
