Hanan Motawe gets ready for Zainab Al-Ghazali

Actress Hanan Motawe will play Zainab Al-Ghazali, the Egyptian Islamic activist in a new series called "Om Al Sabereen". The drama is a biography of Zainab's early life, her struggle to continue her education, joining the Muslim Woman's Association which was presidided by Hoda Shaarawi and finally when she joined the Muslim Brotherhood.The drama also focuses on her political role and spending more than 53 years in calling for Islam in the world. The series is produced by Tools Art and Al Khalily Art Production and is considered their first huge production this year. Script is by Ahmed Ashour and it is directed by Ahmed Ismail El Hariri.Hanan is keen on doing this role right, so she is studying Zainab's character by reading her autobiography and watching documentaries and films about her. Co-starring her are Tareq Lutfi, Ahmed Azmi and Ahmed Foad Selim. Shooting shall start in the next 10 days.
