Egyptian contestant and Arab Idol arrived to Cairo International Airport yesterday Wednesday 28 March. She received a very warm welcome from her family, friends and fans and she attracted a large media coverage from many satellite channels that fought to interview her. Carmen snatched the first “Arab Idol” title from her competition, Moroccan Dunia Batma by gaining the highest number of votes.She did not only win the title, but she also also signed a one year contract with Pepsi to be the commercial face in their next ad, she will join Platinum Records, and she won a brand new Chevy from the producers of Arab Idol.
