The 5th Gulf Film Festival attracts another five Bahraini films.

To make them a total of 12, another five Bahraini films were announced to participate in the Gulf Film Festival which is held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Majed Bin Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum.The 5th edition of the non-profit festival has 155 films in competition from 40 countries worldwide where the public can watch all films at no charge in celebration of Gulf Cinema.The five new Bahraini films will participate in the Official Short Film Competition and they are "Aneen – Lamentation", "Khusoof – Eclipse", "Sokoon – Silence", "E'jaab – Like" and "Aswat – Voices". One Bahraini film will participate in the Official Gulf Student Short competition which is " Sabr Al Melh – Salt Patience".
