The long documentary "Seto Zada...Awel eshq" or "Grandma, my first love" that tells the story of Shahrzad, the popular singer from the 50s through the perspective of her granddaughter, was presented during "Rencontres de l'image" festival that concluded last monday in "Centre Francais de culture et cooperation" CFCC (French cultural centre).Heba is an artist, just like her father and grandfather. Art has caused them as much trouble and conflict as much as it gave them great moments, strong bonds and love emotions. Art remains a soldier in potter's field in their relationship, while no one really has told the other how they really feel."Seto Zada...Awel eshq" is directed by Heba Youssry and produced by Marian Khoury. Heba is a Higher Institute of Cinema graduate, and already has a short feature film and a documentary in her resume.Heba co-directed many projects since her last movie, but never really led a project. She explained saying it is because she felt she lacked lots of experience, and wanted to really practice a lot in the field before taking the step again. When asked about her movie "Eshq akhar" or "Another love" and "Seto Zada...Awel Eshq", she said that she thinks we all settle for doing stuff we don't like; however, she still supports the idea of people doing what they are really passionate about. She didn't use a professional camera, but only a digital camera, as filming took a year and it wasn't possible to rent a camera that long. Also, she didn't want a fancy picture like today's movies present, just a simple one, more like a music video as it is more to the point. The film got high praise by critics and viewers which was really obvious during the seminar that took place after it. The movie took home the best documentary award. She talked about writing a movie script, but refused to tell any more details, while also hinted about a new drama for TV.
