Marvel Pictures assured that Oscar winner and star of part one, Natalie Portman, will be joining the original cast of "Thor" in the second part which they will start filming in August to be released in 15 November 2013. Portman will be standing again next to Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddlestone, Idris Alba and Jaimie Alexander. With a budget of $150 million just as part one, Marvel are hoping for the new director Alan Taylor to match the success of "Thor" which was achieved by Kenneth Branagh who apologized from making the sequel. Their hopes are based on the excellent TV resume that Taylor has. Hemsworth considered that Branagh's effort in the first part was remarkable and he has high expectations from TV director Taylor as he is a big fan of his show "Game of Thrones".
