After receiving funding from the Ministry of Culture, director Ahmed Maher will start shooting "Be'ay Arden Tamoot – Which Land to Die" by the beginning of winter. He will be also traveling with lead actor Amr Waked by the end of May to Italy as the film was chosen with amongst 200 films to get funding from the Torino Film Festival which is considered one of the biggest financial supporters for films around the world. In his statement to , Maher said that he is in negotiations with French actors to participate in the film but didn't reveal any names and assured that the film will be shot between France and Italy. "Be'ay Arden Tamoot" is Maher's second film after "Al Mosafer" with Omar Al Sherif and he said that Waked will be starring in it next to a lead actress which is not chosen yet, and Maher didn't decided if she will be a famous actress or a new face.
