Director of "I Am Legend" to take over "The hunger games 2"

After long speculations about who will be directing the next part of "The hunger games", topping the box office for 3 weeks, Lionsgate finally announced that Francis Lawrence will be replacing Gary Ross in the 2nd part entitled "Catching Fire", to be released 22nd of November 2013.This is pretty disappointing for fans of the first part and of Suzanne Collins' Triolgy as Lawrence is such a small name compared to initial names presented such as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu and Alfonso Cuarón, while Lawrence's most notable works are "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith and "Cosntantine" starring Keanu Reeves.Filming for "Catching Fire" will start next August lasting for only 4 months due to Jennifer Lawrence's involvement in "X-Men First Class 2"
