Marian Khory to be jury member at the 65th Cannes Film Festival.

Egyptian producer Marian Khory- Youssef Chahin’s niece- was appointed to be jury member at the new talent discovery competition at the Critic’s week which is a parallel section of the Cannes.This is considered a new recognition for the Egyptian cinema after announcing the screening of “Baad el Mawkeaa – After the Battele” directed by Yousry Nasrallah at the Competition.Marian has participated two years ago in the Venice International Film Festival with her documentary “Zelal – Shadows” and received the Mediterranean Cinema Award and the film later screened on “Opinion” the Italian TV Channel.
