Shando is accusing Mohamed Mounir of betraying him by denying him his right in their duet for the song "Ya roman" in Mounir´s latest album.Shando said he just wants to speak out his mind because he felt Mounir has ran over his dream and never looked back, and that he is just venting because, God forbid, he´s not trying to compete with Mounir. He added that the problem happened after he got close to Mounir recently, when Mounir heard him sing "Ya Roman", a song Shando has kept in the dark for 3 years, and Mounir said he liked it and suggested they do a duet. Even though Shando turned down many offers from guys like Tamer Hosny for example, this made him really happy and honored as singing with Mounir has been a dream of his, so he called the song lyricist Adel Salama and composer Ahmed Mohy to tell them the good news. Both were really happy and signed a contract with the company. However, all of a sudden Mounir started offering him big money to give up the song and make it Mounir´s property. Shando refused so Mounir kept offering more money until he realized Shando will never give it up. This song meant a lot to Shando because it was a chance for him to get back into the game.Mounir finally agreed to do the duet and they recorded the song. The plan was for each one of them to sing a verse; however, Shando found out that Mounir removed his voice and kept it only as backing vocals. When Shando complained claiming it was his song, Mounir angrily answered "You want me to remove my voice and put yours?". Then finally he reluctantly said he would ask the studio manager to do so.When the album was released, Shando found himself only 6 seconds in the song, and it is not even noticeable. So, he realized Mounir didn´t keep his cheap promise.Shando claims he has witnesses to back him up, and wonders what harm would´ve been placed upon Mounir had he given him the chance to sneak back again to people´s hearts. He said this has shaken up his career; however, he remains sure God will not leave him broken.
