With Video: Ali El Haggar launches his new album in "Alef" bookstore.

Singer Ali El Haggar celebrated the launch of his new album entitled "Dehket Watan" in "Alef" bookstore yesterday Wednesday at 7pm. The celebration was at the Merghani branch in Masr El Gedida with an attendance of journalist Osama Ghareeb, Dr. Samir Naeem – Sociology Professor in Ain Shams University, poet Nasser Rashwan, Mina Daniel's sister and a large number of El Haggar's fans. The big star sang some of the songs from the new album like "Sitt El Nass" which is dedicated to the girl that was dragged by the police officers in the Council of Ministers' events, "Nesmat Al Azhar" dedicated to Al Azhar martyr Sheikh Emad Effat, "Khaled" dedicated to the martyr Khaled Saeed, "Ahlam Baseeta" dedicated to martyr Mina Daniel and "Dehket El Masageen" dedicated to Alaa Abdel Fattah. The celebration included a discussion symposium about the songs in the album which are mainly written by the big poet Abdel Rahman El-Abnudi and Nasser Rashwan. El Haggar also spoke about the current political situation in Egypt and the conflict between the revolutionists and the military council from one hand and the Muslim Brotherhood from another.
