The fierce competition of Cannes starts tomorrow, Wednesday, where 91 films from 30 countries go head to head.Gilles Jacob, president of the festival, said that they will show a film highlighting the most influential moments of the festival entitled "Une Journee Partticulière" which will be shown on the 20th of May followed by fireworks.The presence of African films in the festival is very notable, such as Youssry Nasr Allah's "Ba'd El Mawqe'a" or "After the battle", two films about terrorism in Africa from Morocco and Algeria and finally a film about immigration from Senegal entitled "La Pirogue" directed by Moussa Toure.Bernard-Henri Lévy will show a documentary about the war in Libya, and Jeremy Irons will present a documentary about garbage disposal in Africa.
