It seems that the controversial comedian Sacha Baron Cohen never gets tired of pulling stunts at festival. He doesn’t even care how prestigious Cannes is that he showed up at the opening of its 65th edition riding a camel with a “Wadiya 1” license plate!Sacha took his ride from the “Carlton” Hotel where he was staying and walked around wearing the Dictator outfit that he wore in his film “The Dictator” which he also wore in many festivals prior. It is said that the camel’s name is “Osama”, probably after Osama Bin Laden that Sacha wandered around on and a large crowd of photographers and citizens following him which caused a chaos in the streets. Photographers managed to take a very expensive shot with Sacha almost falling of the camel but the hotel employees rushed to help him. Festival attendees and journalists are accustomed to Sacha’s showing up in eye attracting ways like he did in 2006 when he attended the premier of his film “Borat” with a revealing swim suit! On the other hand, Cannes opened its doors yesterday Wednesday with a large number of cinema stars from all over the world and the opening film was Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom”.
